"Where Are You?" is a recent plein air painting, created in March while on spring break in Wood County, Texas. Discovering this beautiful, spring fed pond in deep woods on private property opened my mind to wonder. The brilliant greens of spring foliage, contrasting with the dark green pines attracted me. I reflected upon the restorative power of nature, while remembering my parents and the days of my youth in Tyler, Texas as I painted this.
