This painting was born on a bright summer day in July of '25. Fortunately, we were guests at our daughter's vacation home, which is near the Collegiate Peaks in Colorado. I set up my plein air easel on her property and had this spectacular view of Mt. Harvard with its famous White Cliffs at the base. I love the color in the pine and fir trees which scented the air as I painted.
