Love Note To New Mexico

Love Note to New Mexico is a studio painting that I created from a smaller plein air painting I did in Angel Fire, New Mexico in July, 2026. I scaled the plein air piece up to 24"x30" and added a more nuanced foreground to expand upon my original piece. The dramatic cloud formations over a distant mountain range inspired this painting. I have been entranced with the landscape of New Mexico since my first trip there as a four year old child. Many vacations over the years have imprinted this magical place upon my soul. This painting is presented in a beautiful unstained maple frame. Shipping fee is extra, due to the careful packaging of a framed work of art.
